well right now i'm at lakes ranch camp sitting in the pitcrew lounge (up and coming leaders) and we just had a mean time with God. the crew experienced God, got words of knowledge and some heart ministry from Jesus. really cool stuff.
So what have i been up to? well house sitting, working and sleeping. I have been house sitting for a few different friends and am now back at the ranch. I resigned from my job at breakers. thats been freeing. They didn't have many hours for me and had taken on a large number of staff, so i thought it would work good for me to leave and its all on good terms. God prepared me for it. and i'm excited to have evenings to myself.... yus! so yup. I'm still working at Mana Adventures doing paddle boats and kayaks. it has been challenging. the guys are not christians and that poses interesting conversations and topics I'm not interested in. its quite disgusting and leaving you feelin dirty. and they listen to the edge alot.... i hate the music on it. no apologies, but i can't stand it. lol. sleeping is so nice. i sleep deep. My health has been a bit up and down. i got this cough which hasn't gone away. really annoying. ah well its going in Jesus name.
So yeah thats been a bit of life at the mo. spiritually, I was reading a book on Smith Wigglesworth and the book talked about how a person can be possessed by a demon and totally controlled by it. most people tend to have a demonic influence in certain areas but can live normally. well with christians we can have the Holy Spirit influence certain areas of our lives but just live normal lives. But how much more if we where possessed by the Spirit of God..... think about it. where we are like a glove and the Spirit is like the Hand of God and what God does, we do. what He thinks, we think, what He prays, we pray. imagine the impact we would have on society and our sphere of influence.... so thats the thought I've had lately.....there is alot more to what God showed me, but that'll do for now.

Day Off
Well, today is my day off. in the past 2 days i've worked a 12hr day, then a 11 hr day. I was pretty proud of myself, though really tired and i txt my mate who is a dairy farmer. he pops my bubble saying he did an 18hr day cause the milking shed had a break down. he said they started at 4 and finished at 10 that night. very loud pop. hahahaha so yeah its been good, enjoying work. though 2 of the guys are a bit..... well normal for world standards really. actually prolly on the good end of the scale. hahaha, yeah Jesus cleanse my ear gates. so i love all my work mates. especially the maori and pacific islanders! they crack me off. and the cool thing is they like me too! I'm like "hey sup bro! how's it man?!?!?! and they allways give me the bro shake you know. i love it. and there is this girl hahaha from the cheque (i can't spell the country) republic and she always giggles at me... lol and i can't always understand what she says so i just smile and say ya. one of my manager dan, he's the man. he's so relaxed aye. he's been at breakers for 3 years and is so amazing.
So.... whats God been up to with me. well i got home last night....... OH i have to tell you this first. I have a new addiction! try it everyone. i came home from work, opened up the fridge, got out a HUGE coke glass, you know, typical Coke. and i filled is up half way with just juice (mango and whatever one) and the rest with scweps (grrrr) lemonade and sit down and read the newspaper or a book. it is a fantastic way to wind down and relax and get ready for bed. oh my goodness. SO addicted! lol anyways.... back to what God's been doin. I got home, drank my fantastic drink and then went to go to bed. i'm all ready and then I thought it a good idea to read the bible. whenever i find myself thinking its a good idea to read my bible... it always is! duh! and i've been reading isaiah 60 the past 2 nights.
1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen on you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but the LORD shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you.
3 And the nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.
ok so flip, doesn't that blow your mind! as we arise in Christ, in His Power and Light, the Glory of God rises with us. and gosh we all know that darkness (sin) covers the earth and a deeper darkness the people. BUT the lord shall rise on you..... promises.... own it! and the glory of God.... THE GLORY OF GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!!!! will be seen on ME! WAHOO! thats so cool. yes yes yes yes yes Lord! and then people will come to you. and they get touched by God out of my relationship with God! seriously cool!
so i ended up doing some sweet intercession like i never done before. shuda come ba see da ma ...... yeah Holy Spirit was there. and i slept so good too. maybe thats for someone, you need to have a mean tongues prayer time before you go to sleep and you'll sleep good as.
One other thing God confirmed to me was praying from a place of victory. Jesus won the victory, so pray from the victory. example: thank you Jesus you've won this battle, thank you that ....... will be restored, thank you for the work you've done in their life etc. thanking the Lord is so important. it also gives you freedom. and some people are like, but they aren't saved and you're thanking God they are. When we do that we're "calling what is not as though it where" (Romans 4:17b) and are speaking earth to align with heaven.
ya. good stuff, well blessings guys. love to you all through Jesus our Lord!

In The Beginning......
well, hey guys, welcome to my blog. this is a first for me. never had one before and always a tad cautious with such things.... anyways.
So the purpose of this i guess is for me to find the easiest way to let everyone who are friends of mine know what i'm up to and what God is teaching me. so.... this is the result. I hope you find it personal, impacting, challenging, funny and even times bring a tear to the eye... hopefully in awe of our Great God.
so yup yup. ok one other thing. the way i type is the way i'd talk. according to Mrs Strong its.... oh gosh now i'm trying to remember it. um.... something like spoken english.... now i feel a bit embarassed. no not shamed out.... cause Jesus took my shame! never mind.
So. I moved up to Rotorua, New Zealand about 4 weeks ago. Working 2 jobs. one as a waiter at breakers restaurant as a waiter mainly and at Mana Adventures on Lake Rotorua putting customers out on paddle boats and kayaks. i'm also looking at getting my skippers license while i'm at it. I thing though is that you have to wear lots of sunblock. hahahaha and stay in the shade or water as much as possible so you don't get heat stroke on new years eve and feel like a zombie for the next few days. =)
On a more serious note, I've found a great church called living wells. its a big pentecostal church here and they are so welcoming and friendly and i was lucky to know a few people already and help out with a christmas production they did. so they like me and i like them.
Every day is a confirmation that I am on the write track, in the perfect centre of God's will. each morning when i get up I ask God to order my steps for the day and He has. I had 2 jobs after 2 weeks of being there, and now i have consistent money coming in. I am house sitting which has worked out such a blessing. the local christian camp lakes ranch has really supported and helped me when i first got here and still keep an eye on me. i have met an amazing family who have just taken me in and made me feel so welcome. been invited to peoples places, amazing youth who are real and love God and just really accepting. bosses who are nice as and don't lose it at ya. the list goes on. But "I know that My God shall provide all my needs according to His Riches and Glory" because I am "seeking forst the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and so all these thing will be added to me". so thats as short an update as i can do to start with. I will post regularly.
For those interested, God has given me a few parts to some songs and i prayed for a sick man the other day and God touched him, so its been good. keep me in your prays if you can.
